Ivanhoe Mines Update on Mongolian Parliament's Discussion of the Investment Agreement for Construction and Operation of the Oyu Tolgoi Mining Complex

Ivanhoe Mines' (TSX:IVN)(NYSE:IVN)(NASDAQ:IVN) President and CEO John Macken said the company has noted the formal vote recorded today in Mongolia's State Great Khural (national Parliament) to advance approval discussions of the comprehensive Investment Agreement for the Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold project in the South Gobi Region.

The vote to proceed with consideration of the draft agreement was supported by 75% of the members of Parliament present and followed six hours of discussion, during which the agreement was formally introduced by the Parliament's Standing Committee on Economics. The Standing Committee announced that it had voted 13-1 in favour of authorizing the government to sign the agreement.

Teck Resources Announces C$1.74 Billion Private Placement

Teck Resources Limited ("Teck") (TSX:TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE:TCK) announced today that China Investment Corporation ("CIC") has agreed to purchase through a wholly-owned subsidiary 101.3 million Class B subordinate voting shares of Teck for C$17.21 per share. Teck will apply the net proceeds of the transaction to reduce outstanding bank debt. On closing, CIC will indirectly hold approximately 17.5 per cent of Teck's outstanding Class B subordinate voting shares, representing approximately 17.2 per cent equity and 6.7 per cent voting interests in Teck. Upon completion of the transaction, Teck's Class A shareholders as a group will hold a 61.8 per cent voting interest in Teck with Temagami Mining Company Ltd. holding a 28.5 per cent voting interest.

Thundermin and Cornerstone Intersect 3.8% Cu Over 9.1 Metres on the Little Deer Copper Deposit, Springdale Area, Newfoundland

Thundermin Resources Inc. ("Thundermin")(TSX:THR) and 50% joint venture partner Cornerstone Resources Inc. ("Cornerstone")(TSX VENTURE:CGP) announce that they have intersected 3.8% Cu over a core length of 9.1 m in hole LD-09-22 on the Little Deer Copper Deposit (the "Deposit"). In addition, wedge hole LD-08-16A intersected variable amounts of copper mineralization over a core length of 99 m within strongly altered mafic volcanics in the western portion of the Deposit. The best intervals within this zone include 1.9% Cu over a core length of 15.8 m, including 2.9% Cu over 5.7 m, 1.5% Cu over 23.3 m, including 3.1% Cu over 6.2 m and 1.2% Cu over 9.4 m (Table 1 and Figure 1). To date, the copper mineralization in the Little Deer Deposit has been intersected over a strike length of approximately 1,050 m and to a vertical depth of approximately 895 m. The Deposit remains open to the east, west and at depth.

Nautilus Confirms High Grades in Phase One of 2009 Tongan Exploration

Nautilus Minerals Inc. (TSX:NUS)(AIM:NUS) (the "Company" or "Nautilus") announces that it has received high grade copper, gold, zinc and silver assays with highest assay results in respect of each element across all the samples tested of 12.6% Cu, 34.0 g/t Au, 60.9% Zn and 185 g/t Ag. The assay results relate to the samples taken during the first phase of its 2009 target generation program in Tonga, on 100% owned Nautilus prospecting licences (see Figures 1 and 2). The second phase of the Tongan program is currently underway.

Stephen Rogers, Nautilus' CEO, commented: "We are excited about the high grades of these assay results. In particular, the very high gold and silver grades are impressive. The delineation of more "precious metal" rich, high grade Seafloor Massive Sulphide ("SMS") systems further highlights the prospectivity of our large tenement package in Tonga.
