Denison Mines to Acquire Fission Energy and Spin-Out Patterson Lake

Fission Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FIS) ("Fission") is pleased to announce the signing of a Binding Letter of Intent (the "Binding LOI") pursuant to which Denison Mines Corp. ("Denison") will acquire a portfolio of uranium exploration projects including Fission's 60% interest in the Waterbury Lake uranium project, as well as Fission's exploration interests in all other properties in the eastern part of the Athabasca Basin, its interests in two joint ventures in Namibia plus its assets in Quebec and Nunavut (together, the "Assets").

Uranium One Enters into Definitive Agreement with ARMZ for Going Private Transaction for CDN$2.86 per Share in Cash

Board Unanimously Recommends Transaction

Uranium One Inc. ("Uranium One" or the "Company") today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement (the "Arrangement Agreement") with JSC Atomredmetzoloto and its affiliate, Effective Energy N.V., (collectively "ARMZ") under which the Company would be taken private pursuant to a plan of arrangement (the "Plan of Arrangement"). ARMZ and its affiliates currently own 51.4% of the Uranium One common shares ("Common Shares").

Two More Drill Holes Cut High Radioactivity and Uranium Mineralization at PLS, Saskatchewan

Alpha Minerals Inc. (TSX-V:AMW.V), (the "Company" or "Alpha"), and its Joint Venture partner Fission Energy Corp (TSX-V:FIS.V) are pleased to release additional results from the current core drill program. Since the announcement of the discovery hole PLS12-022 (see news release Nov. 5, 2012), two more vertical holes have been completed, PLS12-023 located 10 meters grid north of Hole PLS12-022 and Hole PLS12-024 located 10 meters grid west of PLS12-022.

PLS12-023 intersected approximately 13 meters (42.9 feet) of strongly anomalous radioactivity over the core interval between 63.0-76.0 meters downhole with visible uranium mineralization and extensive alteration.

Fission Energy Corp.: Discovery Hole Hits "Off-Scale" Near Surface at PLS

 FISSION ENERGY CORP. ("Fission" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:FIS)(OTCQX:FSSIF), and its Joint Venture partner Alpha Minerals Inc (formerly ESO Uranium Corp), report that core drilling on the PLS project has intersected a 6.0 m wide interval of high grade mineralization with massive visible pitchblende in veins (up to 21cm wide), blebs and flecks.

This high grade mineralization occurs at shallow depth in basement rocks in drill hole PLS12-022 which is still in progress. The strongly radioactive interval occurs within a broader 21.0m interval of moderate radioactivity witch breaches the unconformity and extends downward into the Archean basement.

Laramide Comments on Queensland Decision to Recommence Uranium Mining

Laramide Resources Ltd. is pleased to provide a Company update to shareholders following Queensland's decision to overturn of the decades-long ban on uranium mining. The government decision is a very positive development for Laramide and the Company's flagship Westmoreland Project, situated in northwestern Queensland, one of three known deposits in the State.

Queensland Premier Campbell Newman and the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, the Honorable Andrew Cripps, announced in a joint statement on Monday, October 22nd that the State Government will convene a three-member implementation committee to oversee the recommencement of uranium mining in Queensland. Premier Newman said the decision followed sustained public debate on uranium mining in Queensland, in addition to the strong support for the uranium industry from the Federal Australian Labour Party ("ALP") Government.
