Rockgate Intersects High-Grade Mineralization in South Block of North Zone, Falea Uranium-Silver-Copper Project, Mali: Including 3.24% U3O8, 242 g/t Ag Over 1.3 Metres

Rockgate Capital Corp. (RGT.TO) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the discovery of a high-grade extension of the North Zone in the South Block, immediately east of the Road Fault. The South Block was identified as a priority target for the 2012 drill program. Important points regarding South Block program include:

• Hosts high-grade uranium and silver mineralization focused along a west-trending structure over 500 metres long and approximately 100 metres wide.
• DF-830 averages 3.24% U₃O₈ and 242 g/t Ag over 1.3 metres.
• DF-760 averages 1.03% U₃O₈ and 88.7 g/t Ag over 2.0 metres west of the Road Fault, indicating that the South Block structure continues across the fault, south of the west half of the North Zone.
• DF-663 averages 0.10% U₃O₈ and 598 g/t Ag over 8.6 metres.
• 69 diamond drill holes totalling 16,274 metres completed.
• Drill holes spaced 50 metres apart, sufficient to classify new mineral resources as Indicated and to provide detailed resource modelling for ongoing mine planning.
• Easily accessible, located 250 metres south of Plateau Edge Structure.
• Extends the limits of the high grade mineralization within the North Zone.
• Defines structural controls to high-grade mineralization to guide step-out drilling to the west.

2012 Diamond Drill Program Update

Drilling, suspended on July 31^st due to seasonal heavy rains, is scheduled to resume October 15^th, 2012. Rockgate''s 2012 drill program utilizes 4 diamond drill rigs, deployed on various priority targets. Top priority is given to targets that can be brought into Measured and Indicated ("M & I) mineral resources quickly for incorporation in ongoing economic studies. Those target areas include:

1. Bodi Area - to confirm and expand near-surface mineralization west of the Road Fault with the aim of identifying potential open pit resources.
2. North Zone South Block - to expand high-grade mineralization in the southeast quadrant of the North Zone further south and southeast and west across the Road Fault.
3. North Zone Western Extension - to convert and expand "Inferred" mineral resources to the west and northwest of the North Zone to an M & I resource category.

Work on a new, updated Mineral Resource Estimate will begin shortly once all assays for the 2012 program are received. Detailed planning for the Fall 2012 campaign is underway.

Christopher J. Wild, P.Eng., Project Manager for Falea, is the Qualified Person for the Company under NI 43-101. All core samples are cut in half on site and sent to ALS-Chemex in Bamako for direct shipment to ALS-Chemex in Johannesburg, South Africa, for ICP-MS and XRF analysis. The company inserts a standard, blank and requests a duplicate sample be run in every batch of 20 samples. In addition, the lab inserts in-house blanks, standards, and duplicates with each shipment. Data that falls outside the control limits are checked and repeated as necessary.
