Alliance Bus Group ("ABG"), Grande West's exclusive US distributor, will produce Buy America compliant Vicinity buses for sale to US transit authorities. The ability to leverage ABG existing facilities, staff, and deep knowledge of bus technology provides Grande West with a solid foundation upon which it can quickly ramp to production.

 

Grande West is the 'Transit Vehicle Manufacturer' of record with the US FTA and responsible for all the necessary compliance with the Federal Government and Buy America requirements.

Grande West's exclusive US distributor Alliance Bus Group ("ABG") will deliver to MARTA ten (10) Vicinity buses for operation in their transit system.

St. John's Transportation Commission has ordered three (3) Vicinity buses, the City of Oakville has ordered eight (8), the City of Burlington has ordered seven (7) and the City of Welland ordered two (2).

 

All of these orders will be delivered through our eastern Canadian service and sales partner City View.

VANCOUVER, Jan. 30, 2017  - Grande West Transportation Group Inc. (TSXV: BUS; OTC PINK: GWTNF) ("Grande West" or the "Company"), a Canadian bus manufacturer of heavy-duty mid-sized transit buses for sale in Canada and the United States, is pleased to announce it has received a new order from BC Transit totalling approximately $13 million CAD.

 

The order is for thirty-nine (39) Vicinity buses for delivery starting late 2017 through early 2018.

 

Grande West's total firm orders for 2017 and early 2018 delivery are for two hundred-fourteen (214) buses valued at over $74 million CAD. Firm orders and options for 2018-2020 delivery are currently at ninety (90) buses.
