Rare Element Resources Files Utility Patent Application for Rare Earth Processing Technology

Technology produces thorium-free, pure rare earth concentrate

Rare Element Resources Ltd. (NYSE MKT: REE and TSX: RES), a mineral resources company advancing development of the Bear Lodge Critical Rare Earth Project, announced today that it has filed a utility patent application with the US Patent and Trademark Office that combines its initial provisional patent on the “Rare Earth Element Extraction” process technology, filed in January 2013, with its “Extraction of Thorium from Rare Earth Compounds and Related Methods” provisional patent, filed in November 2013. Collectively, this extraction technology enhances the recovery of rare earth elements from ores mined from the Company’s Bear Lodge Project in northeast Wyoming, improving the efficiency of the process and isolating the thorium for easy and safe third-party disposal.

Bacanora Announces Filing of Technical Report on Inferred Resource Estimate of 1,486,000 Tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent on Lithium Joint Venture Lands

BACANORA MINERALS LTD. ("Bacanora" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BCN) is pleased to announce the filing of a Technical Report ("Report") in respect of its Fleur and El Sauz concessions ("Concessions") that form part of the Sonora Lithium Project in northern Mexico. The Report has been prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101") and is entitled, Initial Lithium Resource Estimate - El Sauz & Fleur Concesions - Sonora Lithium Project. The lead author of the Technical Report is Carl G. Verley, P.Geo., who is a "qualified person" within the meaning of NI 43-101 and is independent of the Company. Argex announces positive results of its feasibility study for titanium dioxide industrial project

Argex Titanium Inc. (RGX.TO) ("Argex") is pleased to report the results from the industrial feasibility study (the "Study") for its titanium dioxide (TiO2) industrial project. The Study is based on a 50,000 tonnes per year first-module production facility to be located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec.  GENIVAR Inc. (GNV.TO) ("GENIVAR"), one of Canada's leading professional services and engineering firms, was mandated to establish the technical viability of a TiO2 production facility and to provide a development plan and capital estimate for the project.   The delivery of the full report in final form is expected shortly.

The financial model for the first-module was prepared by Ernst & Young ("EY") based on information provided to them by Argex as received from GENIVAR, vendors, service providers and other third-parties in the preparation of the Study.

(TSX VENTURE:MPS) (OTC PINK:MPSFF) (FRANKFURT:IJA1) has acquired a 100-per-cent interest in the North Albany Property consisting of 16 mineral claims covering approximately 256 hectares located within the Porcupine district of Northern Ontario, contiguous to the north of Zenyatta Ventures Ltd.'s Albany (vein type) graphite deposit discovery.

Zenyatta recently announced intervals of 146 metres of 5.2 per cent graphite, 177 metres of 5.3 per cent graphite, 186 metres of 4.9 per cent graphite and 125 metres of 4.6 per cent graphite, respectively (see Zenyatta Ventures news release dated July 2, 2013).
