CALGARY , Jan. 2, 2015 - Karnalyte Resources Inc. ("Karnalyte" or the "Corporation") (KRN.TO) announced today that it is in discussions in connection with obtaining financing in a targeted amount of approximately USD $700,000,000 for the development of the Wynyard Carnallite-Sylvite Project. An engagement letter was signed with an Indian financial institution in October, 2014 – well in advance of the recent dissident shareholder requisition – and due diligence and structuring discussions are now under way. The investment capital is expected to come from a syndicate of financial institutions.

NMC Resource (TSX Venture: NRC) Signs Letter of Intent to Go Private at $0.20 per Share

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - November 25, 2014) - Further to the news release dated November 4, 2014, NMC Resource Corporation ("NMC Resource" or the "Company") today announced that it has signed a letter of intent (the "LOI") with Dong Won Corporation ("Dong Won"), for a going private transaction. 

Under the terms of the LOI, Dong Won, the majority shareholder of the Company is to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company, other than shares held by Dong Won and KTB 2007 Private Equity Fund ("KTB") at a price of $0.20 per outstanding common share. The LOI contemplates that the transaction be completed by way of a plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) which would require shareholder approval and the approval of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

South Africa's Department of Mineral Resources Gives Final Approval of Mining Right for Development of Ivanhoe Mines' Platreef Project

Resumption of construction at mine site will end consideration of potential workforce retrenchments

Mkango Resources Announces Results of Pre-Feasibility Study for the Songwe Hill Rare Earth Project in Malawi

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2014) - Mkango Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MKA) (the "Corporation" or "Mkango") is pleased to announce the results of the Pre-feasibility Study for the Songwe Hill Rare Earth Project:
    -    Pre-feasibility Study (the Study) indicates US$293 million after-tax net present value (NPV), using a 10% nominal discount rate, and 36% after-tax internal rate of return (IRR) for the Songwe Hill Rare Earth Project (the Project), based on rare earth oxide (REO) prices equivalent to a total rare earth basket price for Songwe Hill of US$55.0 per kg REO. The basket price reflects the selective removal of a large proportion of the cerium during the hydrometallurgical process which enhances the value of the product mix.
       
    -    Initial capital expenditure (Capex) of US$217m, including a contingency of US$20m, is among the lowest in the rare earth sector.

Western Lithium Advances Nevada Lithium Supply With Demonstration Plant Startup

RENO, NEVADA--( Sep 8, 2014) - Western Lithium USA Corporation ("Western Lithium", the "Company") (WLC.TO)(WLCDF) is pleased to announce that it has commenced calcination of its lithium clays in the first of three planned campaigns to demonstrate the viability of extracting lithium on a large scale from its lithium-rich clay deposit in Nevada. The calcination is the first step to turn the lithium bearing clay into water soluble lithium sulphates, so that a brine can be produced through leaching. The 12 tons per day calcination plant is now operational, while the downstream leaching, crystallization and precipitation process is still under construction and expected to be operational in November 2014. The planned production of lithium compounds will continue through the fall and into the spring of 2015 to determine engineering parameters and equipment selection to complete a definitive feasibility study for the Company's US patented extraction process. Western Lithium will include a lithium hydroxide circuit, in addition to planned production of lithium carbonate, to meet potential new industry requirements.
