District Commences 5,000 m Drill Program at Tomtebo Property

VANCOUVER, BC, March 15, 2021  - District Metals Corp. (TSXV: DMX) (FRA: DFPP); ("District" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has commenced drilling at its high grade polymetallic Tomtebo Property located in the Bergslagen Mining District in south-central Sweden. This drill program is focused on the historic Tomtebo Mine where detailed geophysical, geochemical, and geological work conducted by the Company has identified significant coincident anomalies, that in combination with historic drill results, have developed high priority targets.

Garrett Ainsworth, CEO of District, commented: "This is an exciting time for the Company and our shareholders as we embark on the first substantial drill program at the Tomtebo Mine in almost half a century.  The potential of the Garpenberg Mine did not get unlocked until the 1990's, and now we are applying that knowledge and technology at Tomtebo.

Our geological interpretations from work carried out in late-2020 greatly contributed to firming up our drill targets, and the subsequent implications from these interpretations are very encouraging.  A key to this successful outcome has been the involvement of Rodney Allen and Hein Raat, who are both well-known experts in the Bergslagen Mining District. With a better understanding on the controls of polymetallic mineralization and the structural framework at the Tomtebo Mine, we have started our maiden drill program fully armed with knowledge to optimize every meter drilled."

Osisko Metals Reports 27.5 Meters Grading 31.1% Zinc in the R190 Deposit at Pine Point

MONTREAL, March 08, 2021  -- Osisko Metals Incorporated (the "Company" or "Osisko Metals") (TSX-V: OM; OTCQX: OMZNF; FRANKFURT: 0B51) is pleased to announce initial results from the current drilling program at its Pine Point Project, located in the NWT. This drill program comprises both an infill program designed to provide data needed to convert current Inferred Mineral Resources to the Indicated category, and a hydrogeological program designed to characterize water flow throughout the host dolomites on the property. The drill holes reported herein are for the R190 deposit, located in the West Zone of the property that hosts higher-grade, vertical prismatic deposits (See Map and Table 1):

Drill hole R190-21-PP-001 intersected 27.50 metres grading 31.15% Zn and 11.57% Pb, near the center of the R190 prismatic deposit. This infill hole exceeded grade expectations and met thickness expectations.
Drill hole R190-21-PP-002 intersected 25.8 metres grading 24.39% Zn and 14.74% Pb, also near the center of the R190 prismatic deposit. This hole exceeded grade expectations and met thickness expectations and was a duplicate hole to test for grade as well as a hydrogeological testing hole.

Chakana Copper Accelerates Drill Program with Second Rig, Provides Exploration Update at Soledad, Peru

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - February 18, 2021) - Chakana Copper Corp. (TSXV: PERU) (OTCQB: CHKKF) (FSE: 1ZX) (the "Company" or "Chakana"), has added a second drill rig to its Soledad project located in Ancash, Peru in order to accelerate both the exploration and resource drilling programs. The Board of Directors has approved an expanded 26,000m drill program for the 2021 calendar year, with 16,000m of resource drilling for inclusion in the Company's Soledad maiden resource estimate expected later this year. Resource drilling will focus on recent discoveries at Paloma East, Paloma West, and Huancarama (Fig. 1). Resource drilling is expected to also be completed on Breccia 7 (Bx 7), a previous discovery announced in 2019 (see news release dated July 29, 2019). An additional 10,000m of scout drilling will be allocated to test numerous high quality exploration targets that have already been identified. Resource definition drilling includes both step-out and in-fill core holes in close proximity to known mineralization of possible economic interest.

Currently, one drill rig continues to conduct scout drilling on the west side of the Huancarama Breccia Complex where recent drilling has confirmed a blind breccia pipe immediately north of the H5 breccia body exposed at surface (Fig. 2). A total of twenty-five drill holes have now been completed at Huancarama. Once scout drilling is completed, this drill rig will focus on resource definition drilling at Huancarama. The second drill rig has been deployed to the Paloma area where resource drilling has been initiated at Paloma East (Fig. 3). Resource drilling is also planned for Paloma West, and additional exploration drilling will be conducted in the greater Paloma area. A third drill rig dedicated to exploration drilling is scheduled to arrive on the property in early April 2021.
