GTA Reports Results from Drilling on the Northshore Project, Ontario, Including 23.73 g/t Gold Over 9.0 Metres (Including 139.00 g/t Gold Over 1.20 Metres)

BURLINGTON, ON / / August 22, 2016 / GTA Mining and Resources Inc. (GTA.V) ("GTA" or the "Company") reports assay results from the first phase of the 2016 drilling on the Northshore Property located in Priske Township, near the town of Schreiber, Ontario, approximately 200 km east of Thunder Bay or 125 km west of Hemlo, Ontario.

Phase 1 consisted of 36 (NQ size) shallow holes (between 11 and 41 metres) totaling 866 metres. Drilling focused on delineation and expansion of the near surface, higher grade mineralization of the Afric Zone, specifically the previously identified Caly and Audney vein systems. Two series of holes were drilled; the "A" series holes, (17 holes totaling 512 metres over a strike length of 60 meters) to test the Caly vein system, and the "D" series holes (19 holes totaling 354 metres over a strike length of 100 meters) to test the Audney vein system.

Almaden Confirms High Grade Vein Zone Outside of Amended PEA Pit, Hits 1.0 Meter of 6.19 g/t Gold, 1250 g/t Silver Within Broad Zone of Veining Returning 70.43 Meters of 0.44 g/t Gold and 54 g/t Silver

VANCOUVER, BC--(August 10, 2016) - Almaden Minerals Ltd.("Almaden" or "the Company") (AMM.TO) (NYSE MKT: AAU) is pleased to announce assay results from Almaden's ongoing exploration and development program at the Company's Tuligtic project, Mexico. Drill hole TU-16-318A was drilled from the bottom of hole TU-13-318 which in 2013 stopped short of the vein zone reported today. By deepening this hole the Company was able to confirm a zone of veining intersected up-dip in hole TU-11-056, which in 2011 hit two high grade veins that returned 1.26 meters of 2.45 g/t gold and 854 g/t silver and 0.95 meters of 13.86 g/t gold and 2577 g/t silver respectively. Results have also been received from hole TU-16-462 drilled above TU-11-056. This hole also intersected the vein zone and hit two intervals, 0.74 meters of 1.26 g/t gold and 203 g/t silver and 0.52 meters of 0.28 g/t gold and 297 g/t silver respectively. Further holes have been drilled on this section and results are pending. The mineralisation intersected in all holes is limestone hosted and located outside of the 2016 Amended PEA pit. Highlights from holes TU-16-318A and TU-16-462 include the following intercepts:

Integra Gold Intersects 14.82 g/t Gold Over 7.9 m in C2 Structure, 15.64 g/t Gold Over 6.7 m and 12.91 g/t Gold Over 4.0 m in C4 Splay Structure (All Results Uncapped)

VANCOUVER, BC--(August 09, 2016) - Press Release Highlights:

Results received from the C2, C4, and C5 structures continue to support internal continuity and lateral expansion potential with both infill and step-out drill holes intersecting significant mineralization in some cases up to 100 meters away from currently modeled resource envelopes
High grade results from intercepts in the C4-30 footwall splay structure (50 m below the C4 structure, estimated dip of 55-60 degrees) indicating C4 footwall sub-parallel structures carry additional resource potential
Results announced today are from 14,370m of 2016 drilling; assays are currently pending from an additional 44,370m (121 drill holes) of diamond drilling at Triangle

Marathon Deposit Grows Larger With New Drill Results: 2.11 g/t Au (Cut) Over 68.3 Meters (TT) and 1.33 g/t Over 48.8 Meters (TT)

TORONTO, ON--(August 09, 2016) - Marathon Gold Corporation ("Marathon" or the "Company") (MOZ.TO) is pleased to announce continued positive results from its latest drilling at the Marathon Deposit, Valentine Gold Camp. New drill holes MA-16-107 and MA-16-11 have both intercepted very wide intervals of good-grade gold mineralization for up to 80 meters down-dip of previous drilling on the Marathon Deposit (Figure 1, Section 17250 in www.marathon.com). These new drill holes further confirm the continuity of the 50-100 meter wide (TT) mineralized corridor of the Marathon Deposit that is currently open along strike and extends to depth for more than 250 meters. Previously reported drill holes MA-16-101 and extended drill holes MA-15-032, MA-15-039 and MA-15-047 also intersected similar wide intervals of higher grade gold at depth (Figure 1, PR's June 21, 2016, July 6, 2016 & July 28, 2016). Shallower drilling intercepted significant mineralization up to 250 meters southwest of the current Marathon resource pit shell and in the hanging wall of the deposit (Figure 1).
