ZTE manufactures world’s first low-cost solar-powered mobile phone - using innovative technology from Intivation.

Barcelona, February 18, 2009  –  Digicel Group has launched the Coral-200-Solar, the world’s first low-cost solar-powered mobile phone. The Coral-200-Solar, manufactured by ZTE, uses proprietary technology from Dutch-based innovator Intivation.

Expanded service scope consolidates IMImobile’s position in European markets and lays the foundation for further expansion

MWC 2009, Barcelona, Spain -18th February 2009 – IMImobile, specialist provider of technology platforms and value added services to mobile operators and media companies worldwide announced today that it has taken control of the Music2You (M2Y) service previously provided by Nokia Siemens Networks.

Under the M2Y brand, Nokia Siemens Networks provided full-track music download and subscription services to leading telecom operators and media companies across the world including Vodafone in India, AOL in Germany and Akado in Russia.

AIRCOM solution deployed to standardise OSS tools across mobilkom austria group

18 February, 2009 – Mobile World Congress, Barcelona & Leatherhead, UK – AIRCOM International, the leading independent network planning and optimisation consultancy, today announced a contract with Croatian mobile operator Vipnet, to supply its OPTIMA Performance Management solutions across both the Core and Radio Access networks.
 
The deal will act to standardise the Operational Support System (OSS) tools across the entire Vipnet network, with OPTIMA having been deployed in the Core network for more than a year.   Vipnet will now deploy OPTIMA in the Radio Access network, delivering a unified Product Management (PM) solution to both departments and increasing operational efficiencies across the country.
