LONDON, UK – 18 November 2009 – Zeag, a specialist in providing parking products, today announced that Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Wirral Hospital) has chosen Zeag’s Wi-Fi parking solution. The new system upgrades and unites two car parking systems and facilities at Arrowe Park Hospital and Clatterbridge Hospital. The solution uses the Hospital’s existing Wi-Fi network; eliminating the need for costly groundworks.

“One of the biggest costs associated with car parking facilities is the need for groundworks, whether this is to connect to the existing network or to supply electricity to payment stations or barrier gates,” said Ray Hodgson, Director, Zeag. “To connect the two sites, with limited disruption, but also with limited expenditure, we implemented a Wi-Fi parking system at both hospitals, eliminating the need for further groundworks across several car parks."
