Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter Fiscal 2008 Financial Results

Company achieves record revenue and net income for fiscal year 2008
--Signs new long-term agreements with Rockstar Games' senior creative talent
--Provides initial guidance for first quarter and fiscal 2009

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) today announced financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended October 31, 2008.

Net revenue for the fourth quarter was $323.4 million, compared to $292.6 million for the same period of fiscal 2007. Fourth quarter sales were led by Midnight Club: Los Angeles, NBA 2K9, Grand Theft Auto IV and Carnival Games titles. Distribution revenue rose year over year, as current generation hardware sales were fueled by the strength of new frontline titles, along with robust demand for Wii software.

Actuate Corporation Updates Terms of $60 Million Tender Offer

Actuate Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTU), the leader in delivering Rich Internet Applications Without Limits™, announced that it is amending its previously announced tender offer to repurchase a maximum of $60 million worth of its common stock for cash. Actuate is now offering to repurchase its shares at a price per share not less than $3.00 and not greater than $3.50. Previously, the company was offering to repurchase its shares at a price per share not less than $2.20 and not greater than $2.60. The tender offer is now scheduled to expire at 12:00 midnight New York City time on December 18, 2008 instead of December 8, 2008, unless further extended by the company.

Actuate is amending the tender offer in response to investor feedback, and due to the company’s receipt of an unsolicited proposal from a third party to purchase all of Actuate Corporation’s outstanding common stock for $3.50 per share in cash.

RIM to Offer CAD $1.50 Per Share in Cash for Certicom

Offer Price Represents a Substantial Premium of 76.5% over Certicom's December 2, 2008 Closing Price

Research In Motion Limited ("RIM") (NASDAQ:RIMM)(TSX:RIM) announced today its intention to make an offer (the "Offer") to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares (the "Certicom Shares") of Certicom Corp. ("Certicom") (TSX:CIC) at a price of CAD $1.50 cash per Certicom Share.

The Offer price represents a premium of approximately 76.5% over the closing price of Certicom Shares on December 2, 2008 and a premium of approximately 76.1% over the volume weighted average trading price of Certicom Shares for the previous 20 trading days. The total acquisition cost is expected to be approximately CAD $66 million.
