GSE Systems Announces $18 Million Contract for a New Nuclear Plant Simulator in Slovakia with Associated Digital Control System

GSE Systems, Inc. (GSE) (NYSE Amex - GVP), a leading global provider of real-time simulation and training solutions to the power, process, manufacturing and Government sectors, announced it has been awarded a contract valued at over $18 million to build a new nuclear power plant simulator for a two unit reactor plant in Slovakia. The contract includes approximately $12 million of hardware that the customer has requested be a part of the contract in addition to approximately $6 million related specifically to the simulator. Margins on the hardware portion of the contract will be minimal, while margins on the more traditional simulation portions will be consistent with those in the past.

Exar Corporation (Nasdaq: EXAR) and Hifn, Inc. (Nasdaq: HIFN) announced today that they have signed a definitive agreement under which Exar will acquire Hifn. Court Grants Rambus Supplemental Damages in Hynix Case and Orders Negotiation of Compulsory License

Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq: RMBS), one of the world’s premier technology licensing companies specializing in high-speed memory architectures, today announced that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has granted its request for supplemental damages following an earlier jury verdict finding nine Rambus patents valid and infringed by Hynix SDRAM products. According to the order, Hynix is to pay Rambus royalties of 1% for SDR SDRAM products and 4.25% for DDR SDRAM products made, used, or sold in the United States after December 31, 2005. DDR SDRAM products include DDR SDRAM, DDR2 SDRAM, DDR3 SDRAM, GDDR SDRAM, GDDR2 SDRAM, GDDR3 SDRAM, and DDR SGRAM. These supplemental damages are in addition to those previously awarded in the amount of $133M for Hynix’s infringement through December 31, 2005.

Tata Communications Partners With Digital Realty Trust For DatacentreSM Lease Agreement In The UK
