Lignol Confirms Site for its Proposed Cellulosic Ethanol Plant in Colorado

Lignol Energy Corporation (TSX-V: LEC) (\"Lignol\" or \"the Company\"), a leading technology company in the cellulosic ethanol and biorefining sector, announced today that its U.S. subsidiary, Lignol Innovations Inc., is moving forward with its previously announced plan to construct a commercial demonstration cellulosic ethanol plant in Colorado. Lignol has recently received approval from the U.S. Department of Energy (\"DOE\") to locate the facility in Grand Junction, on the western slope of Colorado. The approved location is a change from the originally proposed site adjacent to Suncor Energy (U.S.A.) Inc.\'s (\"Suncor\") refinery in Commerce City, Colorado.

Lignol is expecting that Suncor will operate the facility, to be built next to Suncor\'s products distribution terminal in Grand Junction. The Grand Junction location offers logistical advantages including access to feedstock and ethanol distribution efficiencies. Site specification decisions are subject to regulatory approval.

Gold Star Receives Permits for Coronation Sulphur Project

Gold Star Resources Corp. (the \"Company\") (TSX-V: GXX) is pleased to announce that it has received Metallic and Industrial Mineral Permits numbered 9308080562 through 9308080564 from the government of Alberta, Energy Mineral Development and Strategic Resource Division. These permits allow the company to proceed with the necessary steps towards exploration and development of the recently acquired Coronation Sulphur Project. The cumulative area under permit consists of approximately 60,000 hectares located approximately 120 kms south of Edmonton, Alberta.

Updating the Company\'s July 17, 2008 news release, the company has received an update from Agapito Associates Inc. of Colorado, who advise that the preparation of the National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report on the Coronation Sulphur Project is near completion.

Enhance Energy Inc. and Fairborne Energy Ltd. Announce Joint Venture Oil Recovery Project

Enhanced Oil Recovery Project to be developed in Clive, Leduc and Nisku reservoirs

Enhance Energy Inc. (\"Enhance\") and Fairborne Energy Ltd. (TSX:FEL) (\"Fairborne\"), both Calgary-based energy companies, are pleased to announce they have signed a definitive agreement to develop and implement a CO2 enhanced oil recovery project at the Clive oil field in the Leduc and Nisku reservoirs, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement.

Sadiq Development Well Spuds

Jura Energy Corporation (\"Jura\") is pleased to announce that the drilling of the Sadiq 2 well commenced on August 26, 2008 at 11:00 am local time. The Sadiq 2 well is located in Block 22 in the Central Gas Basin of Pakistan and has been designed as a development well to target the Sui Main Limestone Reservoir at a depth of 1,104 meters; the well is expected to take 30 days to drill and will be tied into the existing gas processing facilities after an anticipated 8 day testing program.

Sadiq 2 will be the third well drilled within Block 22 since September of 2007, and follows the successful drilling and completion of Hasan 3 in October 2007 and Khanpur 2 in January 2008. Both Hasan 3 and Khanpur 2 have been on production since early 2008.
