London - September 4th, 2008 – Attenda Limited, the Always On Managed Services company today announced that it has been awarded the ISO 20000 certification, the first worldwide standard specifically aimed at IT Service Management. The accreditation, which complements Attenda’s existing ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications, reflects eight years of ITIL expertise which is at the very core of the company’s business operation.

ISO 20000 is the first international standard for IT Service Management promoting an integrated process approach to effectively deliver managed services to meet business and customer requirements. It comprises two parts: a specification for IT Service Management and a Code of Practice with best practice for Service Management. Commenting on the latest award, Mark Fowle, CEO, Attenda says, “This certification is industry recognition of the process discipline that we have adopted to drive availability, consistency, efficiency and high client satisfaction.”

Fowle continues, “ISO 20000 is an important differentiator in providing clients with an independent assessment of the quality of our IT Managed Services. It will be significant in helping to attract and retain clients, putting us on the top of vendor and industry accreditations.”

Attenda centralises and shares as much as possible of the people, process and technology costs of managing IT infrastructures. Attenda M.O., its industry defining technology automation platform, is the result of this shared set of expert resources, working to ITIL best practice and with world-class supporting tool sets. This investment is shared across Attenda’s client base, which includes many of Europe’s leading companies, allowing clients to selectively outsource their IT operations to Attenda.

Fowle concludes, “ISO 20000 Certification will ensure that we provide value for our clients in a uniquely, differentiated way, enabling all of our clients to benefit from high quality, consistent and predictable IT infrastructure services at an optimised cost.”
