Kent Exploration Receives Comfort Letters for 33 Saskatchewan Coal Disposition Permit Applications

Kent Exploration Inc (the \"Company\") (TSX VENTURE:KEX) reports it has received first-priority comfort letters from Saskatchewan Energy and Resources on 25,344 hectares of ground northwest of Hudson Bay. Two of the townships that comfort letters have been received for have rail access and are south of North American Gem\'s \"Adamas\" discovery and approximately 10 and 20 km respectively north-west of the town of Nipawin.

The Company has now received first priority comfort letters on 55 Coal Disposition Applications totaling 43,766 ha (approximately 108,818 acres), and has filed and fully paid for an additional 114 coal disposition applications that are pending with Saskatchewan Energy and Resources. As with all other companies applying for coal dispositions in Saskatchewan, the Company has its applications and coal prospecting permits subject to the Saskatchewan government\'s approval process. The standard issue comfort letter states, \"The extent to which the land described in these applications can be issued has not been investigated, and therefore this letter should not be construed as an indication that any permits will be issued, as a full review is still to be completed.\"

Kent Exploration Inc is a junior exploration company that has a 100% interest in a mining lease option on the Flagstaff Mountain property, a gold/silver/zinc/barite prospect in eastern Washington state, is earning a 100% interest in the Rosebud property, a gold/silver prospect in northern Arizona, has earned 50% of a 100% interest in the mining lease option on the Ivanhoe Creek property, a Midas-style gold/silver target and 50% of a 100% interest in the Ivanhoe Creek placer claims, covering a bentonite deposit in Nevada\'s Carlin Trend, and has a 100% option on the Silver Hills property, a silver/ lead/ zinc prospect in south-eastern British Columbia.
