Hydrogenics and Alstom Sign Agreement to Develop and Commercialize Hydrogen-Powered Commuter Trains in Europe

GLADBECK, Germany, May 27, 2015 -- Hydrogenics Corporation (HYGS) (HYG.TO) ("Hydrogenics" or "the Company"), a leading developer and manufacturer of hydrogen generation and hydrogen-based power modules, today announced that it has signed a 10 year exclusive agreement to supply Alstom Transport with hydrogen fuel cell systems for Regional Commuter Trains in Europe. Alstom Transport is a unit of Alstom, a France-based global leader in power generation, transmission and rail infrastructure with sales of EURO6.2 billion for the year ended March 31, 2015.

Ballard Customer Demonstrates World's First Hydrogen Fuel Cell Tram

VANCOUVER, Canada and QINGDAO, China, April 7, 2015  - Ballard Power Systems (NASDAQ: BLDP; TSX: BLD) today announced that the world's first hydrogen fuel cell powered fixed rail electric tram was successfully demonstrated at a ceremonial event held in March at the head office, production and testing facility of CSR Qingdao Sifang Company (CSR Sifang), a Chinese rolling stock manufacturer based in Qingdao, Shandong province.

Ballard Inks US$80M+ Deal With Volkswagen

- Transaction deepens strategic partnership  

VANCOUVER, Canada and INGOLSTADT, Germany, Feb. 11, 2015 - Ballard Power Systems (NASDAQ: BLDP; TSX: BLD) today announced that the Company has entered into a Technology Solutions transaction with Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen AG, www.volkswagenag.com and Audi AG, www.audi.com) for an aggregate amount of approximately US$80 million for the transfer of certain automotive-related fuel cell intellectual property (IP) and a two-year extension of an engineering services contract.

Quantum Delivers Hydrogen Dispensing System to Linde for a Retail Fueling Station in West Sacramento, CA

LAKE FOREST, Calif., Dec 15, 2014 -- Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. (QTWW), a global leader in natural gas storage systems, integration and vehicle system technologies, in partnership with Linde North America, announces the first hydrogen dispensing system that measures hydrogen mass with connectivity to retail interface and user friendly payment features. The system was installed in West Sacramento and was unveiled at a grand opening hosted by the California Fuel Cell Partnership, Ramos Oil and Linde.
