News Release: Record Revenue and Earnings for Third Quarter

VRX Worldwide Inc. (VRW TSX-V) reported record revenue of $428,000 for the third quarter ended September 30, 2002, an increase of over 50% from second quarter. Profit margins showed more pronounced growth for the quarter with EBITDA increasing 63% to $174,000 and net income increasing 92% to $146,000.

'VRX's fiscal performance during the third quarter exceeded expectations,'commented Robert McMorran, Chief Financial Officer. 'We now expect revenue for 2002 to approach $1.1 million and anticipate ending the year with positive working capital.' Unaudited results for the period ending September 30, 2002 include:

Revenue from operations for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2002 was $889,000 as compared with $220,000 for the comparable period in 2001, a 304% increase. Expenses for the nine-month period totaled $678,000 as compared with $811,000 for the corresponding period in 2001, a 16% reduction. The Company continues to improve its working capital from a deficiency of $360,000 as of December 31, 2001 to a deficiency of $62,000 as of September 30, 2002. Cash flow for the 9-month period was $306,000.
