News Release: Identix'FaceIT Technology Selected by Unisys for Department of Defense Advanced Facial Recognition Program

Identix Incorporated (Nasdaq:IDNX), the world's leading multi-biometrics technology company, today announced that it has been selected by Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) to provide Identix'leading FaceIT(R) facial recognition technology for a Department of Defense (DoD) research and development support task order. Unisys awarded Identix a subcontract valued at more than $1.0 million in connection with a DoD task order, the majority of which Identix expects to recognize in its fiscal 2004 year, which ends June 30, 2004.
