Vimicro Announces $39.80 Million Contract Wins in Taiyuan City of Shanxi Province

BEIJING, Oct. 16, 2014 -- Vimicro International Corporation (VIMC) ("Vimicro" or the "Company"), a leading video surveillance technology and solution provider in China, today announced that its joint venture, Shanxi Zhongtianxin Science and Technology Co., Ltd. ("Zhongtianxin"), has won two competitive bids to provide SVAC-compliant video surveillance cameras and system to Taiyuan Municipal Government in Shanxi Province, with the total estimated contract value of RMB244 million, or USD39.80 million approximately.

Skyworks Raises Revenue and Earnings Outlook

Increases Q4 FY14 Guidance to $718 Million in Revenue and $1.08 of Non-GAAP Diluted EPS; Sets Date for Quarterly Earnings Release and Conference Call

WOBURN, Mass.-- Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (SWKS), an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets today updated its financial outlook for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014. The Company now anticipates fourth fiscal quarter revenue of $718 million, representing a 51 percent year-over-year increase and 22 percent sequential growth. Skyworks also expects to deliver non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $1.08, reflecting a 69 percent increase when compared to the same period a year ago and 30 percent sequential growth. The Company had previously guided to $680 million in revenue and $1.00 of non-GAAP diluted earnings per share on July 17, 2014 as part of its third fiscal quarter earnings release.

Vimicro Announces $12.4 Million Contract Win in Taiyuan City of Shanxi Province

BEIJING, Sept. 30, 2014  -- Vimicro International Corporation (VIMC) ("Vimicro" or the "Company"), a leading video surveillance technology and solution provider in China, today announced that its joint venture, Shanxi Zhongtianxin Science and Technology Co. Ltd. ("Zhongtianxin"), has won a contract to provide SVAC-compliant video surveillance cameras and system to the Traffic Police Detachment of Taiyuan for RMB76 million, or USD12.4 million approximately. The project is expected to be completed by early 2015.

FormFactor, Inc. Raises Third Quarter Guidance Range

LIVERMORE, CA--(Sep 1, 2014) - FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ: FORM) today announced it expects revenue for its fiscal third quarter of 2014 to be between $71 and $75 million, higher than the company's previous revenue guidance of $68 to $73 million. Customer demand across all segments is the main driver for the increase to the company's expected revenue results. The Company also raised the midpoint of its non-GAAP gross margin guidance, increasing the guidance range to be between 35% to 38%, higher than the company's previous gross margin guidance of 34% to 38%.

Netlist Prevails in Reexamination of LRDIMM Patent at USPTO

USPTO Reexamination Appeal Closed With All 60 Claims Confirmed Valid

IRVINE, CA--(Aug 25, 2014) - Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST), a leading provider of high performance memory solutions for the cloud computing and storage markets, announced today that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board ("PTAB") of the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") issued a final decision in the reexamination of U.S. Pat. No. 7,532,537 ("'537 Patent") denying Inphi Corporation's request for a rehearing. The '537 reexamination appeal in the USPTO is now closed. 

With this action, the PTAB reaffirmed its earlier decision upholding the validity of all 60 claims in the '537 patent reexamination, dismissing every single validity challenge raised by Inphi. These claims are directed to fundamental concepts of load reduction and rank multiplication which are integral to the design of LRDIMMs at DDR3 and DDR4.
