Momails award winning mobile email platform will be the basis for Taiwan Mobiles new mobile email service “Catch Mail” and innovative mobile communication services with Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and others.

Stockholm, Sweden – November 19, 2009. Momail announces that it has signed a deal with Taiwan Mobile. Taiwan Mobile will use Momails award winning mobile email platform for their Catch Mail offer. This will be the default email service for all Taiwan Mobile customers with a data rate plan. In phase two, the Momail platform will be used to include mobile communication with popular services such as Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Taiwan Mobile social network and other ISP’s services.

Taiwan Mobile was looking for a mobile email service that was easy to use and that was working on a majority of their customers handsets. With Momails mobile platform they found that plus much more. Taiwan Mobile also like the possibility for popular add-on services and the easy and very cost effective integration with their existing systems.

Taiwan Mobile is the second largest operator in Taiwan with 7.5 million subscribers. The company was first to launch WCDMA 3G services and strives to provide world class telecom services to its customers.  With the mobile email platform from Momail, Taiwan Mobiles customers can get their email on the widest range of mobile phones, today more than 1500 different models. With Momails patented Mobile Message Optimization & Protection Engine (MMOPE) all emails, including attachments like photos and documents, are optimized with up to 99,9% before reaching the mobile. This means speed of transfer and cost savings for mobile data traffic for Taiwan Mobile users.

“The deal with Taiwan Mobile shows again that Momail is the choice for consumer mobile mail. We’re excited that Taiwan Mobile will use our mobile email platform for their email and community communication services. So, very soon we can welcome Taiwan Mobiles users to the growing Momail family,” says Roger Grönberg, CEO of Momail.
