Dublin, 8th October 2008 – CommProve, the leader in Radio Access Network Quality of Service (QoS) monitoring for 2G, 2.5G and 3G mobile networks has today announced it will partner with Telecom 180 to deliver network monitoring services to a major South African mobile operator.
Telecom 180 will deliver professional services to the South African operator and support the deployment of CommProve’s Netledge monitoring system. Netledge captures every voice call and mobile data transaction in the network, highlights poor service and network quality, and enables rapid identification of problems.
Telecom 180 and CommProve have initiated a major program of knowledge transfer to ensure the smooth deployment and support of the nationwide system. Telecom 180, a System Integration Company is focused on providing corporate customers and operators (fixed and wireless), total turnkey next generation network technology solutions and managed support services.
“Selecting the right local partner was vital to meeting our customer’s schedule for the deployment of Netledge in South Africa. Telecom 180 quickly acquired the expertise required to install and commission more sites in parallel and compress the schedule.” said Giovanni Perrone, Customer Operations Director, CommProve.
“Being close to the customer ensures a successful implementation phase and long term high quality support. We are already responsible for local logistics and implementation, and are ready ahead of schedule to provide help-desk, onsite support and local hardware support once the system is fully deployed. Telecom 180 is a Black Empowerment company, ensuring that previously disadvantaged groups are engaged in our success. Not only through our ownership and employees, but also by taking our social responsibilities very seriously” said Delio Senatore, Director, Telecom 180.
