More than 100 Banks Have Successfully Deployed Trusteer’s Secure Web Access Services

London, 5th May, 2011 – Trusteer, the leading provider of secure web access services, today announced that it was positioned by Gartner Inc. as a Visionary in the Magic Quadrant for Web Fraud Detection report for 2011, published April 19, 2011 by analyst Avivah Litan.

According to the Gartner report, “Four new vendors in the Gartner Web fraud detection Magic Quadrant are challenging the incumbents by selling solutions that are often easier to implement and directly tackle cyberattacks, such as zero-day exploits and trojans that raid business accounts…

Many of the Web fraud detection customers who Gartner spoke with reported fraud reduction rates of 80% or more with the various Web fraud detection products and services they chose to implement.”

“We believe this independent analyst report has confirmed that Trusteer clients have not experienced any malware-based fraud from customers who have Rapport downloaded on their desktops,” said Mickey Boodaei, CEO of Trusteer. “We consider these excellent results and placing in the visionaries quadrant of this year’s Web Fraud Detection Magic Quadrant report reinforces Trusteer’s position as one of the true innovators in this market.”

Trusteer’s award winning portfolio of security-as-a-service products provides comprehensive web fraud detection and protection for financial institutions, web-based businesses, and enterprises. The company offers four integrated and complementary solutions:
