Redline Communications (www.rdlcom.com Group Inc. TSX: RDL), a leading provider of broadband wireless solutions for machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, today announced that their rugged industrial wireless system was chosen to create a wireless infrastructure for a major oil producer in South America.

As in other parts of the world, the oil & gas industry in South America has turned to Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques to increase production, safety, and to reduce the environmental impact in their mature oil fields.

Infinera Corporation Reports First Quarter 2013 Financial Results

Infinera Corporation (NASDAQ: INFN), a leading provider of digital optical communications systems, today released financial results for the first quarter ended March 30, 2013.

GAAP revenues for the first quarter of 2013 were $124.6 million compared to $128.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2012 and $104.7 million in the first quarter of 2012.

GAAP gross margin for the first quarter of 2013 was 34% compared to 34% in the fourth quarter of 2012 and 39% in the first quarter of 2012. GAAP net loss for the quarter was $(15.3) million, or $(0.13) per share, compared to net loss of $(16.1) million, or $(0.14) per share, in the fourth quarter of 2012 and net loss of $(20.6) million, or $(0.19) per share, in the first quarter of 2012.

DragonWave Announces Renewed Framework With Nokia Siemens Networks

ADTRAN, Inc. Reports Results for the First Quarter 2013 and Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

ADTRAN, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADTN) reported results for the first quarter 2013. For the quarter, sales were $143,013,000 compared to $134,735,000 for the first quarter of 2012. Net income was $7,890,000 for the quarter compared to $12,960,000 for the first quarter of 2012. Earnings per share, assuming dilution, were $0.13 for the quarter compared to $0.20 for the first quarter of 2012. Non-GAAP earnings per share for the quarter were $0.17 compared to $0.25 for the first quarter of 2012. The reconciliation between GAAP earnings per share, diluted, and non-GAAP earnings per share, diluted, is in the table provided.
