Riverbed Technology Reports Record Third Quarter 2012 Revenue and Profits

Revenue grows 10% sequentially and 15% over prior year
Cash and investments exceed $670 million

Riverbed Technology, Inc. (RVBD), the performance company, today reported financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2012 (Q3'12).

GAAP revenue for Q3’12 was $219 million, an increase of 10% compared to $198 million in the second quarter 2012 (Q2’12) and an increase of 15% compared to $190 million in the third quarter 2011 (Q3’11). GAAP net income for Q3’12 was $25 million, or $0.15 per diluted share, compared to $18 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, in Q2’12 and $19 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, in Q3’11.

DragonWave Inc. Reports Second Quarter Fiscal Year 2013 Results

DragonWave Inc. (DWI.TO)(DRWI) a leading global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks, today reported financial results for its second quarter of fiscal year 2013, ended August 31, 2012. All figures are reported in U.S. dollars and were prepared in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Revenue for the second quarter of fiscal year 2013 was $44.2 million, compared with $13.6 million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2012 and $13.0 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2013. DragonWave had one customer, Nokia Siemens Networks, who generated more than 10% of revenue in the second quarter of fiscal year 2012. Revenue through the Nokia Siemens Networks channel totaled $32.3 million in the quarter.

RF INDUSTRIES, LTD. (RFIL) today announced record quarterly sales and consolidated net income for the third quarter ended July 31, 2012. Net sales increased 51% to a quarterly record $7,472,000 compared to $4,948,000 in the same quarter last year. Consolidated net income was a quarterly record $735,000, or $0.10 per diluted share, compared to consolidated net income of $65,000, or $0.01 per diluted share in the same quarter last year.
