Neptuny Joins the Red Hat Partner Program in Italy

Milan, Italy – 6 July, 2009 – Red Hat (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced that Neptuny, one of Italy’s leading Performance Optimization and Capacity Planning solutions provider, has joined the Red Hat Partner Program.

The Red Hat Partner Program is designed to enable independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, developers and consultants to work collaboratively together to effectively meet customer needs and to deliver superior solutions.

Neptuny has extensive experience in developing its technologies on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and JBoss Enterprise Middleware. In particular, Neptuny recommends Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for CaplanTM, Neptuny’s flagship product, which enables an industrialized approach to Capacity Planning.

The CaplanTM SaaS edition provides all the features of the CaplanTM standard version in the Software as a Service (SaaS) model and is based on a high-availability infrastructure that runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. "Our decision to join the Red Hat Partner Program reflects the positive experience we’ve had with open source technologies and it has allowed us to provide the market with effective solutions," said Fabio Violante, CEO, Neptuny. "This partnership is also part of a larger initiative aimed at further developing our technology partner network, which already includes HP, IBM and other leading vendors."

"Neptuny is a recognized leader in providing innovative solutions and we are very pleased to welcome them to our partner program," said Petra Heinrich, EMEA Channel Director, Red Hat. “Our partners’ expertise, advanced technical skills and professional approach are important components of the success of Red Hat's business.”

"As a member of the Red Hat Partner Program, we will be better able to  support customers running CaplanTM on Red Hat technologies and to leverage Red Hat technical resources, which will help us to improve our ability to provide effective solutions to our customers,” added Giuseppe Nardiello, Business Development Manager, Neptuny.
