SilverCrest’s recent listing on the OTCQX Best Market and promising drill results have positioned SilverCrest Metals Inc. for a considerable future, according to the company’s Vice President and head of Corporate Communications, Michael Rapsch.

Rapsch said that the company’s qualification for a listing on the OTCQX “only after 21 months of forming the company” was “not a small feat.”

 “It’s an imperative milestone for us as we continue with our efforts on increasing awareness, increasing visibility and increasing liquidity for SilverCrest Metals,” he said. “It will provide us with an opportunity to expand our current US shareholder base and provide a better trading platform for the US investor in general.”

Recent drilling in SilverCrest’s Las Chispas property, located in Sonora, Mexico, has revealed multiple intercepts of silver equivalent. Rapsch talked about this and how it builds on the property’s rich history and is a key to SilverCrest’s future potential.

“At this point in time we have four drill rigs working on Las Chispas drill-testing for veins that have been worked on in the past,” he said. “What we have seen from all the drilling and sampling that we have taken and received results from, is that it shows good continuity and we have multiple intercepts of more than a kilo per ton silver equivalent. We’re working very aggressively and systematically to reach a critical mass in terms of a maiden resource estimate. This will be a key catalyst for the company, and we are targeting to publish this independent technical report by the end of 2017.”

Rapsch said that though he respects the competition, SilverCrest’s consistent high grade quality finds are what set them apart and will distinguish them to investors.

“There’s a lot of good junior mining companies out there who work really hard and drive value to their shareholder base, but investors should be looking for continuity and grade,” he said.

“I think that grade is king. We certainly have had spectacular drill results of high grade gold and silver intercepts. I think that’s how we stand out and that’s what investors should look for.”
