Reading, UK – 6th February 2017: Osirium Technologies plc (AIM: OSI.L), a UK based cyber-security software provider, has today announced that its market leading Privileged Access Management (PAM) product is now available in the Asia Pacific region.

Extending into APAC is part of the strategic growth plan for Osirium which has now been accelerated following the resounding success of a recent intensive roadshow. The roadshow enabled the company to promote both the benefits of its software, and meet with potential business partners.

“Feedback from companies we speak to is that existing PAM products are cumbersome to deploy and expensive to run,” said David Guyatt, CEO at Osirium. “Identifying agile vendors is becoming more important as these organisations struggle to stay ahead of ever evolving security requirements.”

As part of its commitment to this region, Osirium has appointed Hugh Sutherland and Mike Stephens as Business Development Directors for APAC. They will take immediate responsibility for identifying and recruiting key value-added distributors and associated business partners in the region.

“The proof-of-concept programmes that we have put in place clearly demonstrate the returns that our software delivers to a business struggling to secure and manage its Privileged Access Management policies,” said Sutherland. “Not only are customers ready to deploy the Osirium suite but the reseller community has also identified that the solution will enhance their security portfolio offerings. We are significantly ahead of the curve with our technology and confident that we can have as much of a positive impact in Asia Pacific as we have had in the UK.”

After its successful IPO in April, Osirium then announced the launch of its Management Application Proxy Server (MAPS) designed to reduce the management complexities associated with using management tools for legacy software. The company has also signed a leading global asset management company which has over £300 billion of assets under management and offices in over 30 countries.
