Scorpio Mining Corporation (TSX:SPM) is pleased to announce additional underground drill results from the 6th, 8th and 9th Levels of the Santa Teresa Zone, which includes a wide 12.0-metre zone of mineralization, at the 100% owned Nuestra Senora project, Sinaloa State, Mexico.

Hawley, Chairman, CEO reports, \"The Santa Teresa zone is continuing to report grades and widths that not only are amenable to mining but are expected to increase the estimated mineral reserves and resources within the total mineral base. As such, the mine planning team has begun development on the 9th level of the Santa Teresa zone for extraction later this year. It is anticipated that the Company will use mechanized room-and-pillar mining methods accessed via internal ramps.

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) and Internet Gold (IGLD) Have Agreed that Microsoft will Operate Its MSN Portal in Israel Independently from October 2008

Microsoft Corporation and Internet Gold (Nasdaq: IGLD) (through its 100% owned subsidiary Smile Media Ltd) have reached an agreement to have Microsoft independently operate a MSN Israel portal. Established during 2000, MSN Israel Ltd is 50.1% owned by the Internet Gold Group and 49.9% owned by Microsoft Corporation.

The parties are currently discussing the terms of migration and possible future cooperation. The msn.co.il portal will continue to operate throughout the transition period and both parties are working together to support employees, advertisers and users through this period.

MSN is a global portal network which operates in 44 countries. In almost all of these countries the MSN portal is fully owned by Microsoft Corp. and only in a very few instances has Microsoft joined forces with a domestic partner to establish a local MSN portal. In 2007, MSN Israel accounted for less than 3% of Internet Gold\'s total revenues.

APP Pharmaceuticals to Be Acquired by Fresenius

APP Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:APPX - News), a leading provider of hospital-based injectable pharmaceutical products, and Fresenius SE (XETRA:FRE - News), a global health care group with approximately $18 billion of sales in products and services for hospital, dialysis and in home medical care, today announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which Fresenius will acquire APP.

Under the terms of the agreement, Fresenius will acquire the outstanding common stock of APP for $23.00 in cash per share (the “Cash Purchase Price”) plus a contingent value right (“CVR”) that could deliver up to an additional $970 million, or $6.00 per share in cash, if the financial results of the Company meet certain targets (payable in Q2 2011).

July 7th 2008 - Service management software vendor Metrix has announced that Telsource, one of the US’ leading network integrators, has selected the Metrix Advanced Scheduling, powered by 360, to improve productivity, cut costs and drive revenue.

Previously a manual process, Telsource will be using Metrix to optimize the schedules for their entire U.S. field service workforce. The solution will allow Telsource to increase the number of calls a technician can complete in a day and meet service level agreements, while drastically cutting travel and other service costs.
