Communications Giant Returns to TradeDoubler Following Review of Affiliate Marketing Strategy
12 September 2006 – TradeDoubler, a leading European provider of online marketing solutions, announces today that it has re-signed BT. The new relationship will see TradeDoubler in an extended role, running five affiliate programs for BT. BT’s decision to return to TradeDoubler follows extensive positive feedback from its publishers during a review of its affiliate strategy. TradeDoubler’s reputation amongst publishers for delivering results was influential in BT’s decision.
BT will begin by using TradeDoubler’s affiliate marketing product, promoting BT Shop, BT Fusion, BT Broadband, BT Vision and wholly owned subsidiary, Dabs.com (an online electronics retailer). BT is also currently reviewing the possibility of using TradeDoubler’s extended range of online marketing solutions, including the media network and campaign products.
TradeDoubler’s consultancy division will enable BT to tap into a wealth of online marketing knowledge and expertise. The account management team dedicated to the BT account will proactively advise BT in order to optimise the performance of their programs.
Amy Hill, head of online sales at BT said, “As an advertiser it is crucial for us to obtain the best ROI from an affiliate program. TradeDoubler has an excellent reputation for driving results and fostering good relations between advertisers and publishers. The affiliate marketing model is a win win situation for both parties when managed effectively and we are confident in TradeDoubler’s ability to do this. We are excited to be working with TradeDoubler again.”
“We are delighted BT has returned to TradeDoubler. With our proven experience and expertise in running successful affiliate programmes we look forward to delivering positive sustained results for BT,” says William Cooper, Chief Operating Officer at TradeDoubler.
