Mountain Province Diamonds $23 Million Private Placement Fully Subscribed

Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province", the "Company") (TSX: MPV, NY-AMEX: MDM) is pleased to announce that the Company's overnight marketed private placement of 4.6 million common shares at C$5 per share (the "Offering") has been fully subscribed.

Commenting, Mountain Province President and CEO, Patrick Evans, said: "Demand for the Offering was strong, but the Company has limited the placement to $23 million, which together with cash in treasury is sufficient to fund our 2011 operating budget as well as a $10 million payment due to De Beers".

Mountain Province Diamonds Announces Results of Independent Valuation of Gahcho Kué Diamonds

Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province", the "Company") (TSX: MPV, NY-AMEX: MDM) today announced the results of an updated independent valuation of the diamonds recovered from the Gahcho Kué Project during the exploration phase. The valuation was conducted by WWW International Diamond Consultants Ltd. and took place at the London offices of the Diamond Trading Company in early April, 2010. All diamond values presented below are based on the WWW Price Book as at 13 April, 2010.

Peregrine Discovers Six New Kimberlites at Chidliak

Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. ("Peregrine" or "the Company") (TSX: PGD) is pleased to report the discovery of six new kimberlites at the Chidliak project ("Chidliak" or "the Project") on Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada. Three of the kimberlites, CH-29, CH-30 and CH-32, were discovered by drilling, and the other three, CH-27, CH-28 and CH-31 were discovered at surface by prospecting. The summer exploration programme continues with geophysical anomalies being prioritized for drilling by prospecting and ground geophysics.

SIX NEW KIMBERLITE DISCOVERIES
The discovery of six new kimberlites at Chidliak brings the total discovered to date to 32, with 16 of those being discovered thus far in 2010. Of the 32 kimberlites, 18 have been discovered by prospecting, and 14 by drilling. Samples from new kimberlite discoveries are being sent to the Saskatchewan Research Council ("the SRC") for diamond analysis by caustic fusion and results will be reported as they become available.

Star - Orion South Diamond Project information gathering agreements established with Sturgeon Lake First Nation and Metis Nation - Saskatchewan regions

Eric Cline, Vice President Corporate Affairs of Shore Gold Inc. ("Shore" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that the Company has reached agreements with Sturgeon Lake First Nation ("Sturgeon Lake"), Metis Nation - Saskatchewan Eastern Region II ("MNS Eastern Region II") and Metis Nation - Saskatchewan Western Region II ("MNS Western Region II") to gather information on aboriginal traditional land use and traditional knowledge in the Fort a la Corne ("FALC") forest. Stornoway Reports Updated Renard Preliminary Assessment Pre-Tax NPV Increases by 1,400% to $C885 Million

Stornoway Diamond Corporation (TSX: SWY) is pleased to announce the receipt of an updated Preliminary Assessment for the Renard Diamond Project in North Central Quebec. The Renard Diamond Project, which includes the Renard kimberlite pipes and the Lynx-Hibou system of kimberlite dykes, is a 50:50 joint venture with SOQUEM INC. ("SOQUEM"). The study comprises a conceptual mine plan, capital and operating cost estimates, and cash flow model prepared by Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. ("Scott Wilson RPA"), a diamond processing plant design, with capital and operating cost estimates, prepared by AMEC Americas Limited ("AMEC"), and social, environmental and permitting aspects contributed by Stantec Experts-conseil limitee ("Stantec"). The conceptual mine plan is based upon a National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate prepared by Golder Associates Ltd. and reported previously by Stornoway on December 8th, 2009.
