Charter and Time Warner Cable announced their merger last night
A few weeks ago I posted a blog posing the question, what’s going on with the cable industry?

I wrote that blog very recently, when Comcast (CMCSA) was trying to merge with Time Warner Cable (TWC). The Department of Justice (DoJ) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) were taking a long, hard look at whether that $45.3 billion mega-merger would be a good idea or not.
That merger posed the threat of a monopoly in the cable TV industry… Check out the numbers:
