Will Marrissa Mayer and Yahoo be tardy to the video-streaming party … or after Yahoo Acquires RayV, Can Yahoo (YHOO) Compete with Amazon (AMZN), Netflix (NFLX), and YouTube (GOOG) ?
First, who is RayV and why did Yahoo buy them? There is not a lot of information out there about RayV. From what I could find, RayV is unique, interactive viewing media player/web platform that allows users to interact, browse, chat, do whatever across any IP device without disrupting the highest quality viewing experience.
