Empire Acquires Licence Over Copper-Cobalt-Zinc Deposits in Serbia

Empire Mining Corporation (TSX VENTURE: EPC) ("Empire") is pleased to announce that it has acquired an exploration licence over a series of partially-explored copper-cobalt-zinc deposits in an historical VMS district in Serbia. The 90 km2 Povlen Project licence lies some 130 km SSW of Belgrade in an area with good infrastructure.

The licence covers several copper deposits and numerous occurrences and prospects along approx. the principal two-thirds of a 30 km northwest-southeast trend hosted by a Jurassic chert-diabase formation. The licence area has a long history of mining activity dating from Roman and Medieval times to the early-mid twentieth century.

Champion Announces Initial Resource Estimate of 717 Million Tonnes Grading 25% Total Iron at Harvey-Tuttle

- Fermont Property Holdings now contain over 1.5 Billion Tonnes grading 25.4% Iron in combined Inferred Mineral Resources at its Fire Lake North, Bellechasse and Harvey-Tuttle Projects. This represents 3 of 17 claim blocks drilled to-date. - An additional 613 Million Tonnes grading 31% Iron in combined Historical Mineral Resources(i) are estimated at 7 other Projects within the Fermont Property Holdings. - The 60,000 m fully funded 2011 drilling campaign is planned and underway on nine properties within the Fermont Property Holdings with the objective to increase resources and convert the historical resource base to NI 43-101 compliance.

Lundin Mining Acknowledges Announcement of Unsolicited Take-Over Bid by Equinox Minerals Limited

Lundin Mining Corporation ("Lundin Mining" or the "Company") (TSX: LUN)(OMX: LUMI) acknowledges that Equinox Minerals Limited ("Equinox") has now issued a news release announcing that it will make an offer to acquire Lundin Mining for approximately C$4.8 billion in cash and shares of Equinox.

The announcement provides that once the offer is commenced that each Lundin Mining shareholder will be able to elect to receive consideration per Lundin Mining common share of either C$8.10 in cash or 1.2903 shares of Equinox plus $0.01 for each Lundin Mining common share, subject to a pro-ration based on a maximum cash consideration of approximately C$2.4 billion and maximum number of shares of Equinox issued of approximately 380 million.

VMS Reports 37.10 Metres of 5.60% Copper From In-Fill Hole RLD024 at Reed Lake Joint Venture

VMS Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE: VMS) ("VMS") is pleased to announce the latest drill and assay results from the in-fill diamond drill program at the Reed Lake copper-zinc-gold-silver deposit, near Snow Lake, Manitoba, Canada. These latest results including holes RLD023 to RLD026, were testing Zone 20. The in-fill program for the upper two lenses is now complete and the next in-fill drilling will focus on Zone 10 between the 300 and 530 metre levels.

Reed Lake Joint Venture Results

Two drills are currently operating at the Reed Lake Joint Venture site. Both drills are conducting in-fill drilling on the copper-rich lens (Zone 10) to define the extent of mineralization up-plunge from hole RLD015. This drill hole intersected significant copper mineralization and was announced in a press release dated December 10, 2010.

COPPER MOUNTAIN PROJECT NEARING CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION

Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (TSX: CUM) (the "Company" or "Copper Mountain") announces that construction work on the Company's Copper Mountain Project continues to proceed on schedule and as planned. The overall schedule for the project remains unchanged with construction expected to be completed by the end of April 2011, commissioning of equipment is scheduled to occur during May 2011, and full production scheduled to be achieved by the end of June 2011.  Preproduction mining is advancing with half of the Company's mining fleet in operation.  The Company expects the second half of the mining fleet to be in operation by mid April 2011.  The Company's main loading unit, the PC 8000 shovel is performing as expected and is loading the 240 ton trucks to make the planned production rate of 90,000 tonnes per day.
