Openwave To Showcase Solutions At Mobile World Congress That Help Operators Monetize Data Traffic

Openwave Highlights Latest Infrastructure, Messaging and Location Solutions Designed to Monetize Popular Consumer and Enterprise Services
 
Openwave Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: OPWV), one of the world’s leading software innovators enabling revenue-generating personalized services which converge the mobile and broadband experience, today announced that the Company will showcase its service management, messaging, and location solutions at Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona, Spain, Feb. 16 -19, 2009.

Mr. Denman will be a participant on a location-based services panel -
  •  “Finding the Right Strategy for Location Based Services,” on Wednesday, February 18 from 14:00 – 15:30. The session takes place in Hall 5, Room 5.
 
Openwave’s solutions will be available for demonstration in the Openwave Hospitality Suite, AV93-97, including:
 
  • New solutions that showcase a scalable, reliable mobile internet platform which consolidates resources and reduces costs and service enablers which deliver a fast, safe and simple mobile internet experience.
  • Messaging solutions that offer customized content and communications.
  • Network-based products that allow operators to enhance and monetize the mobile internet experience while continuously improving (and potentially monetizing) the mobile internet with ultra-relevant service promotions and targeted ads based on real metrics (a 360-degree-view of the subscriber).
