Val-d'Or, Quebec / TheNewswire / September 1, 2016, - Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX) is pleased to report that an updated (July 31,2016) current NI 43-101 technical report on its East-West gold property has been posted on the company's website at www.knick.ca .
The updated report by Mr. Donald Theberge P. Eng., M.B.A., incorporates the 2015 work by Mr. Martin Demers P. Geo. Mr. Demers reviewed the Knick drill core and reinterpreted the mineralized zones. His observations are included in the NI 43-101 report (p.45). Mr. Theberge states "In light of the results obtained so far and considering the reinterpretation by M. Demers P. Geo., it is highly recommended that exploration work on the property resume, with emphasis on the West, Marbenite South Bound, Raven, and Gilbert zones, which show excellent potential"(NI 43-101 report p.62).
The East-West gold property drill program proposal and methodology document complementary to the East-West NI43-101 Technical Report is also posted on Knick's website.
Drilling is anticipated to start early October 2016 and the priority is to produce a NI 43-10 compliant resource for years end.
The East-West property is located in the Val-d'Or mining camp, Quebec, Canada. It is situated between the Kiena Mine Complex of Wesdome Mining Ltd. (TSX: WDO) and the past producing Marban Mine of Osisko Mining Inc. (TSX: OSK).
Several gold milling facilities which lie along the Trans-Canada Highway are within 35 kilometres of the property including Agnico Eagles-Goldex Mill and Richmont Mines-Camflo Mill, 10 kilometres west and east of the property respectively.
