Val-d'Or, Quebec / August 25, 2016, - Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX) is pleased to report that Knick's field crew has submitted 18 rock grab samples and 24 "B" horizon soil samples from a claim on the Triple Lake Gold and VMS property in the Timmins mining camp, Ontario.
A total of 22 historical old trenches/pits were located from (circa 2 periods of exploration, 1925 and 1959). The old workings lie along a 340? trend and were traced for 275 meters. Along this corridor angular quartz rubble and outcrops of quartz veining and chlorite schist in outcrop were sampled.
The soil geochemistry survey covers the northern part of these workings and areas of overburden to the north.
The work was performed along strike approximately 140m north of where previously reported grab sample assay results ranged up to 117g/t gold and included 4.6g/t and 1.9g/t as well as anomalous gold values (Knick press May 1, 2012). The overall strike length of work in this area to date is approximately 435m.
Grab sample results are not necessarily indicative of a properties potential.
Rock samples were hand delivered to Expert Laboratory in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec for analysis.
Fire assay and metallic sieve methods were implemented for analysis as deemed warranted .
Soil geochemistry samples were hand delivered to the ALS laboratory in Val d'Or, Quebec for fire assay gold and multi-element analysis .
Historical press releases and a NI 43-101 Report on the Triple Lake Property are available on Knick's website at www.knick.ca.
