RockBridge Announces Copper Assay Results Up to 1.95%

RockBridge Resources Inc. (RockBridge) (TSX VENTURE: RBE) is pleased to announce the Copper results of sample analysis resulting from the summer prospecting program from its Cross Hills Newfoundland Rare Earth property. The Cross Hills property consists of 100% interest in 343 mineral claims covering 20,923 acres, prospective for Rare Earth Elements and metals and for Copper. The prospecting program was performed to better define specific drill locations by expanding on RockBridge's existing property sampling.

The analysis of samples from the known Rare Earth Element targets will be completed in the near future.

Great Basin Gold Updates Hollister Mineral Resources Measured and Indicated Gold Equivalent Ounces Increase by 14%

Great Basin Gold Ltd. ("Great Basin Gold" or the "Company"), (TSX: GBG; NYSE Amex: GBG; JSE: GBG) announces a revised mineral resource estimate has been completed for the Company's Hollister Project on the Carlin Trend in Nevada, USA. At a cut-off grade of 0.25 oz/ton (8.57 g/t Au), the combined measured and indicated mineral resources contain 1.64 million gold equivalent ounces grading 1.305 oz/ton (44.73 g/t Au) for gold and 10.3 oz/ton (355 g/t) for silver, an increase of 14% compared to 1.44 million ounces in 2009. A further 1.27 million gold equivalent ounces are contained in inferred mineral resources of 1.04 million tons at a grade of 0.59 oz/ton (20.19 g/t) for gold and 13.8 oz/ton (472 g/t) for silver.

Volta Extends Strike of Kiaka Gold Mineralization by 400m to the South

Intersects 41.1 m at 1.34 g/t gold, including 3.7 m at 6.4 g/t gold and 5.0 m at 3.66 g/t gold

Volta Resources Inc. ("Volta" or the "Company") (TSX: VTR) today announced the latest results from the drilling program completed in July on the company's Kiaka Gold Project. The Kiaka project is located approximately 120 kilometres southeast of Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. To date, 155 holes (22,818 meters) have been drilled in the Central and South Areas at Kiaka. This news release reports on the holes that were drilled in June and July 2010 and located south of the Central Area where a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate has been completed (see news release of June 29th).

Bayfield Correction Increases Drill Hole from 2.70 g/t gold to 5.08 g/t gold over 81m in Rainy River, NW Ontario

Bayfield Ventures Corp. (TSX-V: BYV) (FWB: B4N) (the "Company") is issuing a correction to it's news release dated September 7(th) reporting an additional high grade gold discovery on its 100% owned Burns Block property in the Rainy River District of north-western Ontario. The Burns Block is situated immediately to the east and on strike to Rainy River Resources' (TSX-V: RR) gold project.

Bayfield incorrectly reported yesterday that drill hole RR10-18, from 488 metres to 569 metres, returned 2.70 g/t gold over 81 metres when the news release should have stated 5.08 g/t gold over 81 metres.

Fronteer Gold Intersects 33 Metres of 5.96 g/t Gold and Begins Decline Work at Northumberland

Fronteer Gold (TSX: FRG)(NYSE Amex: FRG) announces today that core drilling continues to define a second high-grade, gold-silver zone and that site preparation for the decline portal has commenced at its wholly owned Northumberland project in Nevada.

Holes NUG05 and FNU38 are located 75 metres north and 105 metres south-west, respectively, of previously reported FNU035 (see August 3, 2010, press release). Both new holes returned high-grade gold and silver values. Mineralization now extends for an average strike length of 260 metres within the currently outlined second high-grade zone.
