Stillwater Mining Company and Marathon PGM Corp Announce Acquisition Agreement
Stillwater to Acquire Marathon PGM's Platinum Group Assets; Marathon PGM to Spin Out Gold Assets Acquisition of Complementary Assets Solidifies Stillwater's Position as Leading North American PGM Mining Company; Anticipated to Increase Stillwater's Platinum and Palladium Production by Approximately 40% Within Three Years Transaction Expected to Be Immediately Accretive to Stillwater on a Net Asset Value per Share and Reserve per Share Basis; Expected to Be Highly Accretive to Stillwater Cash Flow Within Three Years
Stillwater Mining Company (NYSE: SWC) ("Stillwater") and Marathon PGM Corporation (TSX: MAR) ("Marathon PGM") today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement (the "Agreement") pursuant to which Stillwater, by way of a plan of arrangement, will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Marathon PGM.

Platinum Group Closes 74% Ownership Transaction, Western Bushveld Joint Venture
Platinum Group Metals Ltd. (TSX:PTM)(AMEX:PLG ) ("Platinum Group") announces the completion of the previously announced transaction whereby Platinum Group Metals Ltd. acquires ownership of up to a 74% interest in Projects 1 and 3 of the Western Bushveld Joint Venture ("WBJV") including the feasibility stage, 275,000 ounces per year Project 1 Platinum Mine. Wesizwe Platinum (JSE: WEZ), a company founded on empowerment principles, holds the remaining 26% interest in both projects. Transfers of the final portions of mineral property rights pursuant to the transaction have been approved at the Department of Mineral Resources, South Africa today.
President and CEO, R. Michael Jones said, "We are now in a position to advance the Project 1 Platinum Mine and make a final decision on our strategic alternatives in the weeks ahead.

including 14.00m @ 16.23g/t Pt, 13.92g/t Pd, (30.15g/t Pt+Pd), 3.52% Cu & 1.24% Ni from 176.00m,

Wallbridge Mining Reports 8.00 Grams Per Tonne Platinum+Palladium+Gold over 14.24 metres from Parkin Offset Property in Sudbury
Wallbridge Mining Company Limited (TSX:WM; FWB: WC7) ("Wallbridge") today announced that platinum-palladium-gold-copper-nickel assay results from the intersection of sulphide mineralization on its Parkin Joint Venture property in Sudbury (see Wallbridge Press Release dated November 2, 2009), have confirmed the presence of base and precious metal values in the intercept. Total Precious Metal (Platinum+Palladium+Gold or "TPM") values within the 14.24 metre interval range between 1.40 and 32.47 grams per tonne TPM over different 1 metre intervals. The mineralization also contains significant amounts of copper and nickel.

Marathon's Optimized Reserve: Increased to 3.4 Million Ounces PGM+Au
Marathon PGM Corporation (TSX-MAR, "Marathon" or "the Company") announced today the optimized reserve estimate for its 100% owned Marathon PGM-Cu Project (the "Project"), located 10 km north of Marathon, Ontario. This new mineral reserve is part of the on-going optimization of the definitive feasibility study ("DFS") of the Marathon Project.
Highlights:
- contained PGM+Au increased by 24 % to 3.4 million ounces
- contained Ag increased by 4.7 % to 4.23 million ounces
- contained Cu increased by 6.7 % to nearly half a billion pounds
- reserve tonnage increased by 15 % (up 11.8 million tonnes)
- projected mine life increased to 12 years
- 20% decrease in strip ratio from 3.54 to 2.81
