News Release: Wins $1.3 Million Security Contract

NUVO NETWORK MANAGEMENT INC ("NNM-V") - Wins $1.3 Million Security Contract
Nuvo Network Management Inc., a leading Management Service Provider (MSP), announced that it has been awarded a $1.3 million, three-year contract to provide managed security services to a Canadian federal government agency. Under the terms of the contract, Nuvo will deliver a comprehensive suite of remote security management services from its Network Operations Center (NOC) in Ottawa, Canada. These services will provide 24/7 enforcement of the customer's network security policy by combining firewall management, host and network intrusion detection (IDS) and anti-virus management under the commitments of a single Service Level Agreement (SLA). An important element of the solution is the provisioning of data correlation and forensic analysis across various industry-leading security technologies.

Nuvo's rNMX 6000 series of security management services was first announced in October 2001 and forms the platform for the service delivery capabilities required to fulfill this contract. rNMX 6000 leverages Nuvo's six years of network management expertise, including the Company's ISO 9002 registered Network Operations Center.
