News Release: Awarded 3 New Contracts in the US

ELECTROMED Inc. (MED TSX) announced that it has recently been awarded 3 contracts valued at more than $1.5M. These contracts are for deliveries of digital cardiac networks to the following medical institutions:

- Plaza Medical Center, Fort Worth, Texas

- The Out Patient Clinic, Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama

Plaza Medical Center has moved forward with its plans to expand and enhance its ComView digital network. Upon completion of this expansion Plaza will be capable of viewing cardiac images using ultra high speed (Gigabit technology) retrieval for online cases and will have 14 Terabytes of online DVD image archival. One of the largest systems dedicated to Cardiac Image storage and retrieval in the United States.

For The Out Patient Clinic, ComView is supplying its ViewNT(TM) system and VRS Review Stations in conjunction with a Heart Catheterization System from MIS, one of its OEM partners.

Huntsville Hospital, ComView is supplying its Cardiac Image acquisition modules, a state-of-the-art Cardiac Image server, DVD jukebox and Image Review Stations to provide the ultimate flexibility for linking the hospital's five heart catheterization suites.
