News Release: Slovak Government Selects Bioscrypt V-Prox Readers Being Installed by Honeywell s.r.o. - Security Products o.z.

Bioscrypt Inc. (TSX: BYT), a leading provider of identity verification technology, today announced that the Slovak government is deploying Bioscrypt's V-Prox readers to secure access to restricted areas.

The deployment is designed to provide increased security to restricted areas of government facilities. Honeywell s.r.o. - Security Products o.z., one of the largest electrical security systems component distributors in the Czech and Slovak Republics, created a physical access control solution using Bioscrypt's technology. 'Bioscrypt's product was a significant component to the bid we put forward to win the government project,'said Miroslav Tallo, Honeywell Security Products o.z. 'The proven reliability and performance of the readers provides us with a biometric physical access control option we could not previously offer our existing and prospective clients.'

The Slovak government's decision to move forward with biometrically enabled access control was based on the need to ensure that only authorized individuals gain access to restricted areas. By requiring a unique identifier that cannot be stolen or shared, such as a fingerprint, this objective becomes a great deal more possible.
