News Release: SpectraLink And Alcatel Forge OEM Agreement To Complement The OmniPCX Product Family

SpectraLink Corporation, an industry pioneer in enterprise wireless communications, announced an OEM agreement with Alcatel (Paris: CGEP.PA), an end-to-end communications solution provider. Alcatel is adding SpectraLink's Wi-Fi-based Wireless Telephones to its OmniPCX family of IP-PBXs, offering business customers a full voice solution. Alcatel will demonstrate the new handsets in its booth at VoiceCon2004.

The addition of a wireless VoIP product to its line of enterprise telephony offerings gives Alcatel a competitive solution to meet the growing demand of workplace wireless telephones. Two models of wireless telephones will be offered: the Alcatel Mobile IP Touch 300 and 600. These handsets are designed for a wide variety of enterprise applications, and provide many of the advanced features of the OmniPCX communication platforms.
