Silvercorp Reports Intercept of 4.55 Metres Grading 2,196 Grams per Tonne Silver, 13.63% Lead and 1.38% Zinc at the LM Mine, Ying Mining District, Henan Province, China

Silvercorp Metals Inc. ("Silvercorp" or the "Company") (TSX:SVM)(NYSE:SVM) is pleased to report the results of its on-going underground diamond drilling program for the first six months of 2012 at the LM Mine and the LM Mine West ("LM West"), Ying Mining District, Henan Province, China. The 22,999 metre ("m") drilling program has substantially extended the downdip and striking extensions of previously defined mineralization zones within some major vein structures. A number of blind parallel mineralized vein structures were discovered in association with major known veins. It is expected that these results will further expand the mineral resource as set out in the National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 Technical Report dated May 1, 2012 for the Ying Mining District.

Cayden Resources Raises CAD$5.1 Million through a Non-Brokered Private Placement

Cayden Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CYD) ("Cayden" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has increased the non-brokered financing announced on August 8^th from $4,200,000 to $5,095,000 as a result of the increased demand. The non-brokered private placement is now complete, gross proceeds of CAD$5,095,000 were raised by issuing 5,095,000 units (the "Units") of the Company at a price of CAD$1.00 per Unit (the "Offering"). Each Unit consists of one common share plus one half of one common share purchase warrant with each whole purchase warrant exercisable into a common share at a price of $1.50 for a period of 24 months from closing (the "Warrant"). The common shares and the common share purchase warrants are subject to a four month hold period expiring December 17, 2012.

Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (BAR.V)(BALMF) reported today that the first of the ME-series holes completed as part of the summer drill program on its Martiniere Property has discovered a new bonanza grade, gold bearing structure in the footwall to the Bug Lake Gold Zone. The Footwall discovery returned, on an uncut basis, 272.39 g/t (8.0 oz/ton) gold over 3.88 metres (12.7 feet) across the width of the mineralized structure. Included in this interval are adjacent bonanza grade intercepts of 1,530 g/t (44.6 oz/ton) gold over 0.55 metres (1.8 feet) and 409 g/t gold (11.9 oz/ton) over 0.50 metres (1.6 feet).
