Premier confirms 69% increase in open pit indicated resources at Hardrock to 3.97M ounces

THUNDER BAY, ON , July 8, 2014 - PREMIER GOLD MINES LIMITED ("Premier" or "The Company") (PG.TO) is very pleased to release an updated mineral resource estimate for the Company's 100%-owned Hardrock gold deposit, located in Northwestern Ontario some three (3) kilometres south of the Town of Geraldton . The undiluted and in-situ estimate was completed by InnovExplo Inc. utilizing a 3D block model and supported with input from the Company's geological personnel.  Table 1 provides a deposit summary of the resource at Hardrock, categorized by potential open-pit (O/P) and underground (U/G) economic cut-off grades (COG). For the benefit of transparency, a comprehensive reconciliation of changes with respect to the previously released resource estimate (see press release dated October 29, 2013 ) is provided.  In addition, an upside resource case as well as guidance on progress related to the ongoing Hardrock Feasibility Study is provided below.

Asanko Gold Expands Near Mine Exploration Program as Dynamite Hill Continues to Deliver Results

Highlights: - Completion of 6,700m infill drilling program at Dynamite Hill, a near surface mineralized trend located approximately 7 km from planned Phase 1 milling facility at the Asanko Gold Mine. - Positive results continue to be observed and confirm continuity of gold mineralisation, including; 21m @ 2.14g/t, 50m @ 1.23g/t, 25m @ 3.37g/t, 30m @ 2.53g/t, and 46m @ 3.02g/t. - Resource modelling, definitive mine planning, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and permitting related studies to be completed by Q4 2014 in anticipation of mining Dynamite Hill in 2016 during the start-up of Phase 1 of the Asanko Gold Mine. - An additional 10,000m drill program is planned for H2 2014 to test similar high priority, near mine targets.

Cayden drills 12.0 meters of 4.6 g/t gold in a third discovery at the El Barqueno Gold Property

Reverse circulation drill hole B-1425, drilled into the East Zone at the historic resource area* intersected 145 feet (44.2 metres) grading 0.203 oz/ton Au (6.97 g/tonne Au ) from 40-185 feet (12.2-56.4 metres) depth. Within this zone is a high-grade interval from 60-85 feet (18.3-25.9 metres) that grades 0.81 oz/ton (27.91 g/tonne) Au and 9.55 oz/ton (327.3 g/tonne) Ag.

CJC Intersects 2.51 g/t Au Over 48.20 Metres, Including 6.93 g/t Au Over 12.00 Metres and 11.30 g/t Au Over 6.00 Metres at the Sakami Project

MONTREAL, QUEBEC- - Jul 3, 2014 - Canada Strategic Metals Inc. ("Strategic Metals" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CJC)(YXEN.F)(CJCFF) and Matamec Explorations Inc. ("Matamec") (TSX VENTURE:MAT)(MHREF) are very pleased to report the results from holes PT-14-76 to PT-14-80, drilled in March and April during the latest exploration program on the Sakami gold property. The new results confirm the extension of the Zone 25 gold mineralization envelope to the west, to the northwest and at depth. The recent results also confirm that the contact corridor between the Opinaca-La Grande volcano-sedimentary sub-provinces is fertile for significantly-enriched gold mineralization. This horizon has now been traced over a strike length of more than 200 metres and to a depth of more than 375 metres along its plunge. The latest drilling program on the Sakami property consisted of a total of 2,913 metres in 11 holes; results for the last three holes, drilled along strike and plunge from Hole PT-14-79, are still pending.
