I write this AM on Quaterra Resources. While at the PDAC last week (PDAC was insane with 37,000 badges printed) Chris and I met with a number of companies. As a result there was simply no time to write Morning Notes. It was the first week in 9 years that I did not publish at least one Morning Note.

 How many times have you heard it? It was taught to me first by my dear departed friend Ralph Rooney. Myself, Ralph, Chief Nesbit, Drs. Raul Madrid and Ralph Roberts all toured Nevada together between 1989 and 1995. Ralph Rooney would talk to the old timers (Messrs. Terraco Gold: More Fast Times At Terraco High

This AM we note that Todd Hilditch’s Terraco Gold’s CEO has done it again. In December, 2011 the company completed a non-dilutive $5 million financing. We saw this as a coup particularly in this type of market where finding money is increasingly difficult for those Junior mining companies not yet in production.

Signs of life in the Industrial Metals markets - Chris Berry

Many investors spent the latter half of 2011 and January 2012 licking their investing wounds (us included). However we are beginning to see some encouraging signs of an uptick in the industrial and energy metals sectors.
