Walmart and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. Announce Distribution Partnership

Walmart and the Keurig business unit of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR) announce new distribution of Keurig’s gourmet single-cup coffee brewers and patented K-Cup portion packs in over 3,000 Walmart stores, in time for the gift-giving Mother’s Day holiday.

“Our new partnership with Walmart continues to reinforce the growth of the Keurig brewing revolution going on across the United States,” said John Whoriskey, Vice President and General Manager of Keurig’s At Home business. “Walmart understands the growing consumer demand for single-cup technology and chose to add Keurig as the only single-cup offering currently in their coffeemaker lineup. More importantly, Walmart customers now have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of Keurig’s single-cup brewing technology, quality and value.”

Walmart will carry Keurig’s Elite B40 Single-Cup Brewer and a variety of K-Cups® from Green Mountain Coffee, Gloria Jean’s, Timothy’s, Tully’s Coffee and Newman’s Own® Organics. Keurig brewers allow consumers to brew a cup of gourmet coffee, tea or hot cocoa in under one minute, using Keurig’s patented K-Cup portion packs.
