Mecachrome Receives Financing Commitments Totalling 30 Million Euro

Mecachrome International Inc. ("Mecachrome") (TSX: MCH.TO) announced today that it has received commitments to finance its operations in the amount of 30 million euros. This financing includes a 20 million euros debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing facility from the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, and from the funds Aerofund, funds managed by ACE Management. In addition, Mecachrome's French subsidiary, Mecachrome France, has received financing commitments from French banks for a 7 million euros credit facility as well as a financing commitment from the CIRI (Comité Interministériel de Restructuration Industrielle) for a loan of 1 million euros. In the context of these financings, Mecachrome has also received financial support in the amount of 2 million euros from one of its main customers.

CAE wins contracts for three full-flight simulators and training devices valued at more than C$40 million

(TSX: CAE)(NYSE: CGT) - CAE has been awarded contracts to design and manufacture three full-flight simulators (FFSs) and associated training devices valued at more than C$40 million at list prices. The contracts are with Saudi Arabian Airlines and the Hua Ou Aviation Training Centre in Beijing, China. CAE has announced so far a total of 26 FFS sales in fiscal year 2009.

CAE awarded military contracts valued at more than C$55 million

CAE (NYSE: CGT)(TSX: CAE) today announced a series of military contracts valued at more than C$55 million. The contracts are with the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence, German defence procurement agency, Eurofighter Simulation Systems, Lockheed Martin, and other military customers. The contracts are part of CAE's second quarter order intake.

Alabama Aircraft Announces New Contract for Subsidiary Space Vector Corporation

Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAII) announced today that its subsidiary, Space Vector Corporation, has been awarded a contract for the development, qualification, testing and production of GPS Metric Tracking Units for United Launch Alliance (ULA) of Centennial, Colorado, a joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin that operates space launch systems using the Atlas V, Delta II and Delta IV. It is estimated that the contract will be worth approximately $4.9 million over the next two years.

Alabama Aircraft Announces Win on KC-135 Litigation

Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAII) announced today that its subsidiary, AAII - Birmingham has won its case filed on June 26, 2008 in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims against the United States Air Force and The Boeing Company which challenged the Air Forces selection of Boeing for a $1.1 billion contract to perform PDM services on KC-135 aircraft. The Court set aside the Solicitation and enjoined the Air Force from proceeding with the award to Boeing requiring that The Air Force must resolicit the procurement and take the necessary steps in a new solicitation to address explicitly the role of an ever-aging KC-135 fleet on the PDM to be performed.
