CEO Alex Hawker to present on minimizing costs and maximizing ROI using SON
London, Wednesday, 2 December 2009 – Actix, recognized leader in mobile Network Status Management (NSM) and Self-Optimizing Network (SON) systems, today announced its participation in the 3G Middle East Telco World Summit 2009, to be held in Dubai.
CEO Alex Hawker will speak on the need to balance operational cost with subscriber demands at the Actix-sponsored event, which coincided with the opening of a new regional Actix office at Dubai Media City.
Actix’ presentation at the 3G Middle East Summit 2009 will provide an insight into the challenges of both adding new services to existing 3G networks and deploying new LTE networks to meet demand for new services at the right cost.
Alex Hawker will discuss the importance of Network Status Management solutions as a basic building block towards future SON and address how operators can better manage costs in an uncertain financial climate.
Actix is the leading provider of NSM solutions, with dozens of installations globally, and is the only company to have been awarded major contracts to deliver network equipment vendor-neutral centralized SON systems (C-SON) for LTE. Actix’ first C-SON deliveries to live LTE networks will commence during H1 2010.
