Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. Announces Honda Win

Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (CDTI) ("Clean Diesel" or the "Company"), a cleantech emissions control company, is pleased to announce that it has begun supplying catalysts for next-generation four- and six-cylinder Honda Accord models. The Company expects to announce additional model programs in 2013 as it continues close collaboration with Honda on other high-performance six-cylinder and hybrid vehicle applications.

Clean Diesel's latest catalyst offerings to Honda leverage its proprietary breakthrough MPC© technology and include a high-performance catalyst which is designed to meet stringent California Air Resources Board ("CARB") Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle ("SULEV") emission standards. Clean Diesel will also supply a palladium-only ("Pd-only") catalyst that significantly reduces precious metal content when compared to competitive products that typically include more expensive and price volatile metals such as Platinum and Rhodium.

Westport Announces Second Agreement with General Motors for Advanced Engineering Development for Light-Duty Vehicles

Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT.TO - News) (NASDAQ:WPRT - News), the global leader in natural gas engines, today announced that it has entered into an additional agreement with General Motors (NYSE:GM/TSX:GMM) for a second advanced technology development program. Westport and GM are now developing two different combustion, controls and emissions approaches to natural gas engines, with the first cooperative technology project being announced in June 2011.

Both GM and Westport will continue to bring their extensive expertise to develop natural gas engine controls, emissions and performance strategies. Volvo Trucks Unveils 13 Liter Natural Gas Engine for North American Market with Westport™ HPDI Technology

Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT) (NASDAQ:WPRT), the global leader in natural gas engines, today announced that Volvo Trucks today unveiled its plans to launch a 13 liter heavy-duty natural gas engine featuring Westport™ high pressure direct injection (HPDI) technology. The product is scheduled to launch for the North American market in 2014.

China's First Engine with Westport(TM) High Pressure Direct Injection Technology Unveiled during China National People's Congress

Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT / NASDAQ:WPRT), the global leader in natural gas engines, today announced the introduction of China's first natural gas engine featuring Westport high pressure direct injection (HPDI) technology at a press conference at the government building in Beijing, the Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Speaking at the press conference was Tan Xuguang, Weichai Power Chairman and David Demers, Westport CEO in addition to members from the Ministry of Science and Technology and from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The innovative technological achievement and product introduction is the result of China's first joint venture for HPDI natural gas engines—Weichai Westport Inc.—and fills a gap in the natural gas engine market for heavy-duty trucks. Based on the Weichai Power WP12 engine platform, the 12-litre engine features Westport HPDI technology which maintains the power and performance of the base diesel engine, but allows the replacement of up to 95% of diesel fuel with cleaner burning, less expensive natural gas.
