(TSX-V:ARW; PINK:ARWJF) (www.arowayenergy.com) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company and its joint venture partner ("Partnership") have outright acquired a portion of the lands that comprised the rolling farmout agreement ("Agreement") that the Partnership entered into in February of this year with a private oil and gas company (the "Vendor").

The acquisition consists of 24 sections of land. The Partnership is only required to pay approximately a 6% royalty on production from the acquired lands to the Vendor as opposed to the variable royalty of 7.5% to 12.5% under its previous Agreement. Total consideration paid to the Vendor for the acquisition was $661,637 ($330,818 net to Aroway).

Canacol Energy Ltd. Completes Drilling of Rancho Hermoso 11 Well in Colombia

Canacol Energy Ltd. ("Canacol" or the "Corporation") (Toronto:CNE.TO) is pleased to provide an update of its development drilling program at its operated Rancho Hermoso Field located in the Llanos Basin of Colombia. The Corporation has completed the drilling and casing of the first of four new development wells it plans to drill through the remainder of calendar 2011. The Rancho Hermoso 11 ("RH 11") well has been cased and is expected to be completed and brought onto permanent production from the Ubaque reservoir within the next 2 weeks. The RH 11 well encountered 130 feet ("ft") of net oil pay within 6 different reservoir intervals, which include, from top to bottom, the C7, Mirador, Los Cuervos-Barco, Guadalupe, Gacheta, and Ubaque.

Tethys Petroleum Limited: Doris AKD06 Well Initial Results

Tethys Petroleum Limited ("Tethys" or the "Company") (Toronto:TPL.TO)(Toronto:TPL.TO) today gave an update on the initial results of the AKD06 Doris appraisal well in Kazakhstan.

Drilling data and wireline logs indicate oil in both the Cretaceous sandstone and Jurassic limestone reservoirs. The Cretaceous sandstone has been encountered above prognosis and at a higher elevation than in the AKD01 Doris discovery well and is of good quality with similar net pay thickness to AKD01, which flowed over 5,400 barrels of oil per day from this unit. The Jurassic limestone has also been encountered above prognosis and slightly higher than in the AKD01 well and has similar character to the recently drilled AKD05 well which flowed over 1,500 barrels of oil per day from this zone. Further analysis of these initial data is currently underway.

Coastal Energy Announces Successful Drilling Results at Bua Ban North A and Operations Update

Coastal Energy Company (the "Company" or "Coastal") (TSX: CEN) (AIM: CEO) announces the successful results of the Bua Ban North A-06 well and provides an operations update.

The Bua Ban North A-06 well was drilled to a total depth of 5,950 feet TVD. The well encountered 63 feet of net pay in the Miocene with average porosity of 28 percent. The A-06 well was drilled into the western bounding fault block originally discovered by the A-01 well and encountered the main Miocene objective 50 feet downdip from the original discovery well. The reservoir quality seen in the A-06 is superior to that in the A-01 well, which encountered 32 feet of net pay with 26 percent porosity.
